Can anyone tell me how to remove the excess of p-toluene sulfonic acid (PTSA) from fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) after alcoholysis ?

PTSA is highly soluble in water. Possibly it can be removed easily by extraction from dicholoromethane/chloroform and water system depending on the solubility of fatty acid derivative.

Thank a lot for the reply.
I have used water system but have to do  FTIR of the product to know whether it is removed or not then I can try DCM  or chloroform.
